Welcome to GearUp. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GearUp website and the interactive engineering books and related products offered on it (the "Service"), operated by Subramanian J H under the brand GearUp Press. By creating an account, making a purchase, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You need an account to read the books you purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity under your account. Each account is for one person. For security and fair use, an account may be signed in on one device at a time, so opening it on a new device may sign you out elsewhere. Please do not share your login with others.
When you buy a book, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to read it for your own study, with lifetime access for as long as the Service is available. You may not copy, download in bulk, redistribute, resell, publish, publicly share, or use the content to train machine-learning models, and you may not try to bypass the access controls that protect it. The books remain the intellectual property of the author and GearUp Press.
Prices are shown on the site and may be displayed in your local currency. Payments are processed by our payment partners (currently Stripe and, for customers in India, Razorpay). We do not see or store your full card details. Prices and available products may change over time, but a change will not affect a purchase you have already completed. Any applicable taxes are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Because access to the books is delivered instantly, purchases are final. Please read our Refund and Cancellation Policy for the full details and for the cases where we will still help.
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not sharing account credentials, not scraping or automatically extracting content, not attempting to access material you have not purchased, and not interfering with the security or normal operation of the Service.
We work to keep the Service running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available without interruption, and we may update, improve, or occasionally take parts of it offline for maintenance. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here with its date.
The books are study and interview-preparation material written from professional experience. They are provided for learning. We do not guarantee any particular exam result, interview outcome, or job offer.
To the extent permitted by law, GearUp and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you as a consumer.
The Service is operated from Sweden. These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
